Job Description

Your primary role is to manage existing clients that use Social Media Monitoring Tool and support the new business development within the team. This is an exciting role in the fastest growing area of the company. The role will require the successful candidate to work alongside the Head Sales and Partners to deliver against the agreed plan and to achieve targets that have been set.

In summary this role has 2 elements: Account Management and Sales. The account management element will be require supporting and developing existing users, ensuring that they are getting the most value out of the tool and trying to increase its use. The sales part of the role will require delivering online demos as part of a longer sales engagement or to win business when possible, nurturing users and leads to convert them to clients or prospects and supporting ‘proof of Concepts’ (PoCs).

• Help Identify potential clients
• Manage and develop a potential customer pipeline
• Follow up on leads
• Identifying opportunities for potential business in support of all business lines.
• Making timely and appropriate follow up calls to secure contracts
• Support the achievement of team revenue and recruitment targets as well as achieve personal revenue targets
• Manage the ongoing day to day relationship with existing clients to ensure that they are maximizing the value from the technology and increasing their use of Social Media Monitoring – this drives incremental revenue for the business. In this role it is envisaged that there will be elements of:
o First point of contact apart from product support – traditional account management
o Training
o Account development
• Nurture users to close or to become prospects, including working closely with the Marketing Team to manage the process and marketing activity for prospects.
• Provide sales support, including; basic demos, opportunity reviews, pricing and proposals.
• Support Proof of Concepts such as ensuring that the correct paperwork is in place, reviewing success criteria, organizing training and providing follow-up.
• Help develop the success of the team through the creation of additional information, such as qualification of opportunities and competitive overviews.
• Recording accurate and timely contact history on the company Customer Relationship Manager system
• Be aware of current product and services offerings to maximize sales opportunities

Essential Skills

• Proven ability in account management and sales

• Social Media experience

• Fluent in English, Dutch and preferably German or another European language
• Experience of social media in a business environment
• Maximum of 5 years working experience
• HBO or university Level
